The U.S.-Netherlands Water Network

The U.S.-Netherlands Water Network is an informal network formed by American researchers and professionals to promote exchange and collaboration between American and Dutch approaches to water management in a rapidly changing world. It’s composed of 20 former and current NAF-Fulbright Flood Management fellows.

We are agroup of artists, scientists, community organizers, planners, and engineers who are creating a space for collaboration and action. The climate crisis facing our communities demands that we find new ways of working together.

We are doing this because we recognize that we are at a tipping point and we need all hands on deck to work towards a better future. This means we need to learn how to talk and work with each other -- as artists, scientists, architects, residents, etc. -- and we need to shift how decisions are made and prioritize the knowledge and vision of those most impacted by climate change.
